Summer Job Project : DISCIPLESHIP

War, debt-crippled economy, seductive relativism, all-about-me-relationships - are you established in your own relationship with Christ and His Bible? Will you stand on the Rock when the storms come? Because the storms will come.

This summer, you will take time daily to read the Bible and purpose to do what it says. Jesus will help you. His grace is strong. We will pray together before work. You will learn how to study the Bible for yourself. We'll spend three evenings each week and a couple day seminars focused on the Discipleship element through study, teaching, discussion, small group, and one-on-one mentoring. We'll interact with the Bible and each other around topics such as:

• Financial budgeting and accountability
• Work ethics
• Prayer and spiritual disciplines
• Using spiritual gifts and hearing God's voice
• Conflict resolution
• Communicating Christ's message effectively
• Overcoming sin and temptations
• And more…

In addition, the SJP staff team and your personal mentor plan to be available to you individually for what you want to learn. We want to add to your momentum as you run life's race following Jesus. Run strong. Run unencumbered.
