Expectations, Requirements & Additional Info

Requirements for Admittance into the SJP:

Complete and Submit Application - Complete and submit the application ~~by March 22, 2008~~. (We've extended the application deadline. Please apply as soon as you can as we are receiving many applications and have limited spots available now.) The program fee of $150 is due upon acceptance (non-refundable). Generally speaking, plan for -

4 evenings/week
Usually one day on weekends
any complete weekends
40 hours at work each week, Monday-Friday, 8-5:30
A few days off work for backpack trip(s)
Evening meals together Monday-Thursday
Sunday church if we're in town

Abstinence - Please commit to abstain from the following list for the duration of the Summer Job Project. That means abstain every minute from May 15 through August 14, 2008. Before and after those dates, obey the Bible, limit your actions to the most sensitive conscience in your presence, and do the right thing. Enough said?

Drugs
Gambling
Tobacco (all forms)
Alcohol
Pornography

Highly Recommended:
	Medical Insurance - We recommend that you have medical insurance in case of injury. You can get a high deductible so you are covered for major medical expenses and pay for the minor ones yourself.
