Summer Job Project : JOB

To Summer Job Project participants:

Express Personnel Services, in partnership with Dick and Joy Schroeder and Chi Alpha in Bozeman, MT, are making plans to offer work to the Summer Job Project participants during the summer of 2008. Being employed as a "Temporary Associate" for Express Personnel allows for a variety of work within local companies seeking short and long-term workers.

Once the application (on-line at www.expresspersonnel.com) and interview (in-person) process are complete, you can expect to be offered work based on your skills, interests, and availability.

Typically, most work requests come from either offices needing additional clerical support staff or businesses in need of light industrial helpers. You might get work doing:

  • Answering phones, computer data entry, light bookkeeping
  • Commercial cleaning in office buildings and residences at a Restoration Company
  • Assembly work for a Fishing Product Manufacturer
  • Compilation and assembly for a large Printing Company
  • Delivery and set up for a large Furniture Retailer

Your hourly pay rate will range from $9.00 - $12.00 per hour, depending on the work and the business where you are sent. You can accept or decline whatever work is offered to you through Express Personnel Services. We want you to be comfortable and confident in the work environment at all times. Most work shifts will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Express Personnel Services can never “guarantee” work for the time you are registered and available. Requests for workers from our client companies vary from day-to-day. Since we never know ahead of time what those request will be, we are not in a position to be able to guarantee 40 hours per week. However, based on past experience and the on-going shortage of available workers within the Bozeman area, we should be able to keep each SJP participant working on a very regular basis!

We are honored to be working side-by-side with Dick and Joy and the Summer Job Project because we believe in them and their ministry. We look forward to providing seasonal employment for you while in Bozeman!

Blessings,
Greg Donaldson
Owner - Express Personnel Services

Skip the summer job search hassle. We are partnering with Express Personnel*, a temporary employment agency that can almost guarantee 40 hours per week of work for the summer. Express Personnel provides the flexibility needed for the Summer Job Project (henceforth abbreviated as SJP). Greg Donaldson, the owner, has already begun to talk to companies who are excited to provide employment to SJP participants.

summer job project : jobYou do not need special skills - just evidence consistent dependability, integrity, and a willing attitude. If you work with Christ as your boss and refrain from complaining, you will shine like a light. Read Greg's informational letter.

Through the Discipleship element of SJP, successful, real-world employers will give you keys to win God's way in the workplace. You'll work out a summer budget and, if you stick to it, you should save about $1500-2000 for college. You'll hear how to get out of debt and stay out. You don't have to follow today's economic sleep-walkers. You can step to a different beat.

*If you are already employed for the summer and want to participate in the Summer Job Project, make sure you can work Monday-Friday 8-6 and have evenings and weekends open. You will need to be able to take a few days off work for some SJP activities.

Note: Please DO NOT apply to Express Personnel until you have been accepted into the Summer Job Project. Thank you.
