Costs:

Summer Job Project fee: $150

Due upon acceptance to the program (non-refundable)

Rent/utilities/wireless/supplies/parking: $425/month

Food: 4 dinners per week: about $85/month

Due upon arrival: May rent, etc./food: $510

Finding Money - A penny saved is a penny earned:

People who believe in what Jesus can do through your life in the Summer Job Project have cut back on their lifestyle a bit so that finances won't be an obstacle for you. So, we're asking you to consider doing something that we're doing ourselves. You may be surprised at how much you can save up by cutting back just a little on your expenditures each week.

For example, in three months, with no extra time working, you could "earn" over $400 by consuming:

3 less ($2.50) coffees per week = $7.50 x 12 wks = $90.00
3 less ($7) meals in restaurants per week = $21 x 12 wks = $252
1 less ($6) movie out per week = $6 x 12 = $72

That's one month's rent. Something to consider.
